Nissan impresses at Buenos Aires Auto Show with three concept cars and a local launch

With a larger stand, Nissan is presenting its entire range of vehicles to the public led by the all-new Nissan Kicks and three concept vehicles available in Argentina for the first time: the Frontier Attack, the Nissan EnGuard and the future of crossovers, the Nissan Gripz Concept.

With three new concept vehicles, a global premiere and a local launch, Nissan beats all its previous presentations and is more present than ever at the Buenos Aires Auto Show, underlining its commitment to Argentina. It is also getting ready to commence production of one of its most iconic vehicles in Cordoba in 2018, the NP300 Frontier, thereby incorporating Argentina into the global manufacturing network of the NP300 Frontier, which also includes Thailand, Mexico and Spain.

Nissan presented the Kicks Concept to the Argentinean market in 2015, a vehicle inspired by the Latin American way of life. The Nissan Kicks is now a reality, and visitors to the International Hall will be able to see the crossover that will revolutionize the Argentinean market.

Nissan Kicks is an innovative and challenging vehicle equipped with the latest technology that can handle day-to-day city driving. Inspired by the culture and vitality of the Latin American market, Nissan Kicks is the realization of the Kicks concept vehicle that was on display to the public in the Automobile Hall in Buenos Aires in June 2015, which marked the evolution of the Extrem concept vehicle.

It’s a crossover that combines a robust exterior design and higher driving position with compactness and agile performance. With a dynamic and daring design, the Nissan Kicks has been designed for customers in large cities who lead a busy life and have to face the day-to-day challenges of the urban jungle.

It is one of the first Nissan vehicles to be designed based on the “Intelligent Mobility” concept. It incorporates a wide range of engineering, manufacturing and technological features that provide the perfect balance between performance and fuel consumption.

The Nissan Kicks is the first vehicle to be launched globally in Latin America. It was first presented in Rio de Janeiro for the Olympic Games and is now available throughout the entire region and is another example of how Nissan develops concept vehicles to exploit new design trends that are then realized and introduced to the market directly.

With its new compact crossover, Nissan is extending its range of crossovers to offer one of the broadest and most varied ranges in the region.
