From the first of February KAVO, known for its Asian specialism and shock absorber specialism, added a third specialism to its program; spare parts for all full battery electrical vehicles. The supplier from the Netherlands is continuously keeping up with market developments and customer demand. “In a world that is changing at a rapid pace, such as the automotive industry, you have to change gears”, Peter Bloemberg Sales and Marketing Director at KAVO explains. “Our Asian specialism has been a successful business model for over 35 years, but the market is changing, cars are changing, customer demands are changing. You cannot sit back and behold. We are a progressive company and always look to the future and market needs. We are the first aftermarket supplier specializing in EV. In this way we prepare our customers for what is to come.”

The number of electric cars is increasing continuously, especially in Western Europe. “KAVO has customers in more than 80 countries all over the world”, according to Peter Bloemberg, “each market is different, with dissimilar car fleets and therefor contrasting needs. By offering three specialisms we can fulfil the needs of all customers in every part of the world. And of course the positioning of our EV-range is the same as all Kavo Parts; first rate quality parts for very competitive prices.”

KAVO starts with over 800 different references for all electric vehicles, within its current product range. Peter Bloemberg reveals that it will not stop there; “Of course we are looking further, an expansion of our range will follow soon. Electric cars do have different parts. Charging cables, for example, are completely new, but quite essential. We will be the first to offer a full range”.

While introducing the new specialism KAVO also shows a total new look. “It was an excellent timing to also future-proof our corporate identity. First of all, we wanted to show our three specialisms in all our communication to strengthen our proposition and secondly the time was ready to upgrade and  refresh our logo.
