Stellantis has announced key leadership appointments for its iconic Ram and Jeep brands as part of CEO Antonio Filosa’s strategy to accelerate growth and strengthen the company’s North American operations. The appointments bring two experienced automotive executives into leadership roles at a pivotal time for both brands.
Matt VanDyke Named CEO of Ram Brand
Effective immediately, Matt VanDyke has been appointed CEO of Ram, succeeding Tim Kuniskis, who will now focus on his broader responsibilities as Head of American Brands, North America Marketing, and Retail Strategy at Stellantis.
VanDyke brings more than two decades of experience in automotive marketing, sales, product planning, and motorsports. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at several major automotive companies, making him well-positioned to guide Ram through its next phase of product expansion and market growth.
Branden Coté Takes Over Jeep Leadership
Branden Coté has been named CEO of Jeep, effective August 3, 2026. He succeeds Bob Broderdorf, who is taking a medical leave. Stellantis confirmed that Broderdorf will return to the company in a new leadership role once he is ready.
Coté joins Jeep after serving as a senior executive at AutoNation and previously holding leadership positions at Aston Martin, Canoo, and Mercedes-Benz. His diverse automotive background is expected to support Jeep’s continued transformation and global growth strategy.
Supporting Stellantis’ North American Growth Strategy
Both executives will report directly to Tim Kuniskis, allowing him to focus on the broader strategic direction of Stellantis’ American brands while delegating day-to-day operations of Ram and Jeep. According to Stellantis, the appointments are part of CEO Antonio Filosa’s long-term vision to strengthen customer-focused leadership and improve brand performance across North America.
Leadership Changes Come at a Critical Time
The executive appointments arrive as Stellantis continues to reposition its business under Antonio Filosa’s leadership. Jeep remains one of the company’s most recognized global SUV brands, while Ram is preparing for an expanded product portfolio aimed at increasing competitiveness in the pickup truck market.
By placing experienced executives at the helm of both brands, Stellantis aims to accelerate innovation, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive sustainable growth across its North American operations.
