The New Lancia Ypsilon Italian Tour Comes to an End

The New Lancia Ypsilon Italian tour has come to a successful end, having covered 12,000 km through 60 cities in 20 regions.

The Italian tour of the New Lancia Ypsilon, the first car in the brand new era, came to a successful end a few days ago at the Stellantis & You dealership in Turin. The roadshow kicked off in Milan in February, right after the official presentation of the exclusive New LANCIA YPSILON EDIZIONE LIMITATA CASSINA – 1 of 1906 at the Cassina showroom. On its two-month journey, the car covered 12,000 km, visiting 60 dealerships in 20 regions. A total of 8000 guests were invited, including long-standing Lancia customers, public and private authorities, representatives of local companies and fans of the Italian brand, and a total of 4000 expressions of interest were collected.

The exclusive events were hosted at the first 100 Italian Lancia dealers, specially renewed with the brand new Corporate Identity to turn the showrooms into real elegant living rooms, designed for the well-being of those who experience them, in perfect Italian style. The renovation gave a selected audience of around 150 guests per stop on the tour the opportunity to admire the New Lancia Ypsilon – the model that has taken the brand into the era of electrification – in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
Following the conclusion of its journey across Italy, the New Lancia Ypsilon is getting ready for its international debut: Belgium and the Netherlands will be the first two European markets to launch the model, to be followed by France and Spain, then Germany in 2025. The Belgian market has appointed ten dealers, while there are six dealers in the Netherlands, with thirteen and six after-sales service points respectively.

New Lancia Ypsilon is a 5-door, 5-seater B-segment Premium hatchback that is longer, wider and has larger wheel rims than the current Ypsilon. These features give the car an elegant and futuristic connotation.
The sinuous shapes of the New Lancia Ypsilon are inspired by the models that have made history for the brand, just like the round taillights, a clear reference to the Lancia Stratos, and the iconic “chalice” on the front, now revisited in three beams of LED light. At the same time, the model is the first Stellantis production car with the S.A.L.A. system, the smart virtual interface that ensures a comfortable driving experience in line with Lancia effortless technology.
Available in full-electric and hybrid versions, the New Lancia Ypsilon is also best-in-class in the premium B hatchback segment, thanks to the most comprehensive equipment in its category: large 10.25” display, the best standard parking aid system, and the greatest exterior lighting system in terms of technology and extent. It is also the only model in the segment equipped with Level 2 Autonomous Driving as standard.
