The GR Supra*2 has a following on the Gran Turismo Sport*3, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, with approximately 430,000 players*4 having purchased the car. The GR Supra GT Cup, an e-Motor Sports tournament that started in April, has also proved popular, receiving approximately 26,000 entries*5.
The top three drivers at the finals are scheduled to be invited to the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing FESTIVAL, which will take place at Fuji Speedway in early December.
As co-events of the finals of the GR Supra GT Cup at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019, two e-Motor Sports events will also be held: the fifth World Tour live event of the ‘FIA Gran Turismo World Championship’ 2019 Series and E-motorsports All-Japan U18 Inter-Prefectural Championship.
