MEYLE will be bringing along some exciting product range additions: In time for the 2016 Automechanika edition, the spare parts manufacturer based in Hamburg has made considerable additions to its range for passenger cars, vans and commercial vehicles. At present, the company’s portfolio offers independent repair professionals over 21,000 MEYLE and MEYLE-HD branded products, allowing them to service virtually any popular vehicle application using premium-grade, quality-tested spares. The company’s team of dedicated engineers invests considerable effort in the development of intelligent new products and services designed to help increase repair process efficiency. The range of existing and new products, which will be on show in Frankfurt, is a striking demonstration of the team’s success.
True to the motto ‘one for all’, MEYLE will be presenting yet another application of its innovative MEYLE-HD control arm. Designed to replace three different OE control arm versions, the specially developed MEYLE-HD part caters for all BMW X5 and X6 Series models from YOM 2007 onwards. This saves repair shops precious time and money. Complementing the individual part, there is also a MEYLE-HD front axle repair kit for BMW X5 and X6 models built from 2007 onwards. The repair kit includes all required control arm assemblies along with a full set of corrosion-resistant mounting parts.
Another trade show highlight: MEYLE water pump kits available for a wide range of vehicle applications, including VW, Audi, Renault, Peugeot and Citroën, and containing all parts required for the timing belt replacement. In addition, the kits also feature the corresponding water pump in MEYLE or MEYLE-HD quality, both of which come with an extra 100,000-miles (160,934-kilometres) minimum performance guarantee – in addition to the respective guarantee period.
Making its Automechanika debut, MEYLE-HD stabiliser links for commercial vehicles are engineered to fit most vehicle applications from the Volvo FH and Volvo FM model series. The comprehensive range of MEYLE-HD stabiliser links for commercial vehicles allows repair professionals to offer value-added repair services while minimising truck downtime.
To coincide with the industry’s biggest event, MEYLE has also made further additions to its range of van parts including MEYLE PD brake pads for numerous van models such as the Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter and Ford Transit. In the best of cases, vans equipped with the new MEYLE PD brake pad featuring a wear-optimised friction material mix will only come to the workshop for routine vehicle inspection rather than unscheduled brake replacement.
To enable workshops to offer all-round service solutions, MEYLE has added a new cabin air filter to suit VAG applications which will be on display at the stand. Offering a more flexible and made-to-measure design than the OE part, the MEYLE solution is easier to install thus eliminating the risk of tearing it.
