Leapmotor steps up into Europe with “The Leap” campaign
Leapmotor, the new Stellantis Group automotive brand specializing in electric mobility, is making its debut in the European market with its launch campaign, “The Leap.”
Leapmotor International, the result of the joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor, combines Leapmotor’s technological innovation and production capacity with the Stellantis distribution network and its commercial support. This synergy is enabling the brand to bring high-performance and cost-efficient electric vehicles to Europe.
With the T03 and C10 models, Leapmotor aims to offer safe, technologically advanced and affordable mobility, aiming to conquer the European market with its combination of innovation and convenience.
“The Leap” campaign
The launch campaign, created by Publicis Collective, takes its cue from the brand name itself and revolves around the concept of A Leap Forward.
It depicts a metaphorical, conscious leap that can change lives, through the ability to overcome the habits and beliefs of a lifetime. With that leap forward, the future is now even closer, and above all, within everyone’s reach.
Shot both among the modern architecture of Valencia and at Teruel airport, the film directed by William 9 features a man and a woman in contrasting environments, one natural and the other urban. Both characters are preparing to take a symbolic flight, ending inside the Leapmotor models, the C10 SUV and the T03 urban compact.
Stars of the campaign: T03 and C10
The T03 and C10 models embody Leapmotor’s vision for innovative, sustainable, and accessible mobility. The T03, a compact five-door A-segment city car, offers a range of 265 km (WLTP) and interior space comparable to a B-segment vehicle’s, making it an ideal choice for driving in the city. C10 is the D-segment SUV that combines safety, efficiency, and an intelligent driving experience with a range of 420 km (WLTP), based on the LEAP 3.0 architecture.
Collabs and soundtrack
The campaign’s original soundtrack, entitled “Leap,” was composed by Damiano Ferrari and Luca Lago (Gabesco Publishing), featuring Damien McFly. The campaign images come courtesy of Massimiliano Sarotto, capturing the symbolism of the leap and the essence of Leapmotor models.
