DS AUTOMOBILES REWARDS EXPERTISE WITH EDIDA DURING THE SALONE DEL MOBILE
The Salone del Mobile.Milano (Milan Furniture Fair) celebrates its 60th birthday from 7 to 12 June. A true laboratory for experimentation and mixing genres, it’s proved itself to be a place for trade and creating opportunities in the world of design over several decades.
An international shop window for premium design, the Salone del Mobile.Milano showcases several trends; from classicism that builds on tradition, craftsmanship and expertise to timeless luxury interpreted with a contemporary tone, by way of design that’s based on functionality and style.
Organised on the fringe of this event since 2003, the ELLE DECO INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS (EDIDA) is a unique competition where the 25 editors-in-chief from the international ELLE DECORATION network come together to reward world-class excellence in design.
For the first time, DS Automobiles is a partner to the event with the creation of the Savoir-Faire Award by DS, aiming to increase the status of exceptional expertise and share in spreading it internationally.

The Savoir-Faire Award by DS is presented to ARCA CABINETMAKER in recognition of exceptional expertise, at the crossover between unique savoir-faire and innovation. ARCA CABINETMAKER conceives, experiments and innovates with wood, from his perfect mastery of traditional tools to the invention of new techniques and materials.
The prize was awarded on 8 June in Milan.
