Automechanika Frankfurt is organising a total of 13 free, hands-on trainings in cooperation with leading companies from the industry. The concept has been expanded, with the courses now covering almost the entire collision repair process. The offer ranges from damage assessment, cost calculation and body measurement, through metalwork, plastics, paintwork and glass repairs, to ADAS calibration, high-voltage safety and AI-assisted robotic painting. Participation is free of charge and includes a certificate. Those who register in advance also receive free admission to Automechanika Frankfurt.
The trainings, which take place daily in Hall 11.0, address the latest developments in modern collision repair. “Repairing accident-damaged vehicles today requires a much broader range of expertise than it did just a few years ago. Digitalisation, advanced driver assistance systems, alternative powertrains and high-voltage technology are fundamentally changing repair processes. Together with our partners, these trainings provide hands-on insights into these developments and teach the skills that workshops need today and will continue to need in the future,” says Olaf Mußhoff, Director of Automechanika Frankfurt.
The programme begins with damage assessment and cost estimation, as well as bodywork measurement. In the training ‘Systematic damage assessment of cars involved in accidents’, DEKRA Automobil GmbH demonstrates how collision damage is systematically recorded and clearly documented. Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT) is organising ‘Repair Cost Calculation with SilverDat3 – German engineering meets modern AI’. This session focuses on the efficient digital calculation of vehicle damage in day-to-day workshop practice. ‘Electronic body measurement for damage diagnosis’ is led by Car-O-Liner Deutschland GmbH and explains the interplay between straightening bench repairs and electronic body measurement.Automechanika Frankfurt offers 13 free trainings on modern collision repair
